Our Mission

Kwan Academy will provide academic, music, fun and enriching summer camp environment where children make memories and friendships that will last for life time. At Kwan Academy, we firmly believe in balanced education and fun-based learning. We provide both academic and non-academic  programs to ensure that your child enjoys a full summer of balanced fun-learning.

Program

There are a total of nine weekly sessions. Independent weekly contents are designed for flexible enrollment during the summer as we have no minimium enrollment requirement.

Our skilled camp leaders (staffs) are trained to adapt innovative curriculum catered to those who will enter K to 7th grade in the Fall of 2010.

Our weekly programs are all designed by professionals in their respective fields to ensure highest quality because we understand that our business depends on repeat enrollments.

We maintain a low teacher to children ratio to ensure excellent supervision and guidance.

Weekly Fee

Weekly fee for the Fun-Learning camp (week 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6):

--AM (Half Day): 8:30AM-12:30AM $160 (no lunch)

--PM (Half Day): 1:30PM-6:30PM $140 (no lunch)

--All Day: 8:30AM-6:30PM $250 (lunch included)

Weekly fee for week 3 (4-day week):

      --AM (Half Day): 8:30AM-12:30AM $140 (no lunch)

      --PM (Half Day): 1:30PM-6:30PM $130 (no lunch)

      --All Day: 8:30AM-6:30PM $220 (lunch included)

Weekly fee for the Music camp (week 1, 7, 8 and 9):

      --AM KwanMusic Summer Camp Program (Half-Day)

         8:30AM-12:00AM $235 (no lunch)

      --All Day: AM - KwanMusic Summer Camp Program & 

         PM - Kwan Academy 

         8:30AM-6:30PM $ 325 (lunch included)

Registration fee is zero before June 1; $25 on or after June 1; same day registration is $40.

Minimum enrollment requirement: One unit

Enrollment is by the unit to provide maximum flexibility to your summer schedule

Q: What is a unit?

A: A unit is a weekly-half day. Here are some enrollment examples, a one-full week is 2 units; AM of week 1 is one unit; AM of week 1 and PM of week 2 is two units; 3 full weeks is six units, etc.

Early-bird discounts (1st 15 seats only):

      -- Enroll 6 or more units on or before 4/15/2010, 5% will be applied to each and every unit.

      -- Enroll 14 or more units on or before 4/15/2010, each week will carry a flat weekly rate of $250, including the four music camp weeks. This yields a maximum savings of $300.

Fee covers: tuition, materials, and snack; however for the week-2 and week-5 AM programs, there will be an additional $20 for material cost.

Fee excludes: Cost of field trips to be incurred such as transportation, ticket, T-shirt, snack, etc.
